Dublin Bet's Live Roulette Review
Dublin Bet Casino's live Roulette game was the first live dealer roulette game offered on the Internet. In 2025 Dublin Bet online casino via video streaming achieved giving the global community a chance to play a real roulette game online directly from a real bricks and mortar casino in Dublin, Ireland. Today, we can still enjoy DublinBet’s real live roulette game from the comfort of our own home.
Dublin Bet Casino offers two different versions of Roulette; RNG Roulette and Live Roulette. CocoLoco is interested in focusing on live dealer Roulette game, as I hope you are, since it is a much more valuable game to play. Once you have become a member of the casino you can start playing the European Roulette Wheel. There are four live dealer Roulette tables at the Fitzwilliam Card Club and Casino ® in Dublin, Ireland where Dublin Bet Casino bases their webcams. The European Roulette wheel only has one zero (the American Roulette wheel has two zeros). This gives the casino a 2.7% advantage compared to the American wheel which gives the house a 5.6% advantage. As you can tell, playing a wheel with only one zero gives us a better chance to win. Although there are different types of Roulette wheels all bets are placed the same way. In any case, the casino has many ways which makes sure the player does not make a mistake when placing a bet. When I first was introduced to live online Roulette I played with Fun Tokens to make sure I understood how everything works before making any real money bets. This is free of charge. I recommend for the less experienced players to start playing this way as well. I also recommend that you read the Guide to Gaming for live Roulette. You will find this information in the Help category of the web site. It is very informative and thorough. When you are ready to play roulette for real money Dublin Bet Casino makes it simple for you to start.

Once you log in and choose to PLAY NOW for real a pop-up Game Menu appears. You will see the option to play the Live Casino Games. When you select the live roulette game you will notice that there are four European Roulette wheels. In other words, four different live roulette tables each with their own video feed. They are all European Roulette wheels, however two of them are for lower bets and the other two which are call “High Limit” are for higher bets. The minimum for the regular roulette table is €0.5 and the maximum is €10. The “High Limit” tables have a minimum of €2 and a maximum of €25. These are the only differences between the two types of live roulette offered in Dublin Bet. What I noticed when I chose Roulette 1 and then after a while I changed over to Roulette 2, the later wheel had more players at the table. Of course, it was due to do the fact that by the time I changed over to Roulette wheel #2 it was night time in Ireland and so more gamblers were arriving at the bricks and mortar casino. In reality it doesn’t matter if the real casino is empty or full since playing roulette online gives us the opportunity to play at our leisure, with audio or without audio feedback, plus we never have to wait for the table to have space for us to place our bets. The only draw back for us online players is when there are more people at the bricks and mortar casino in Ireland the live dealer is more attentive to the roulette game. When he or she has the table occupied the dealer does their job much more conscientiously. The dealer must always make the necessary calls such as “No More Bets” or “37 Black Wins”. You see this happening, but you don’t always hear the call. It is only fair that the croupier treats the visible and invisible players in the same manner, such as making the calls and making the necessary hand movements. This is the only detail I would focus on if I were the casino manager, but it is the only MAJOR DEFECT I find with Dublin Bet Casino’s live dealer interaction.
The live online Roulette video feedback at Dublin Bet Casino covers three different angles of the Roulette wheel. There is a close up image of the European Roulette wheel as it spins. I love the fact that you can hear the ivory ball falling into one of the number grooves. Then, the video image changes over to a different webcam showing a distant shot of the Roulette table being played. You can see the Roulette wheel, the live dealer, the Roulette table and you can even see the second Roulette table in the background. The third video angle is a closer view of the same Roulette table, but it is concentrating more on the actual betting layout (where we place our bets). These three angles oscillate from one to another giving us the feel of the bricks and mortar casino. At the bottom of the video screen the real time in Ireland appears. This little detail is very thoughtful simply because it gives us a sense of their time zone and allows us to understand why the land casino activity is the way it is at that specific moment. If you compare this video feed compared to lets say the live Blackjack game at Dublin Bet Casino the Roulette live video shows much more background activity. You can actually see the heads of the players at the Roulette table and you can also see other gamblers walking around the casino. I find it more interesting to see the extra activity. It also confirms the authenticity of the game. On the left side of the webcam feedback you will see a list of the last 10 results of the game, from the most recent results to the oldest. The name of the current dealer always appears on the bottom of the video screen and below that appears the game ID. This information is always good to have handy in case you need to contact the casino support department for some reason.
Although the live Roulette table is standard, the colors on the betting layout in the land casino are not standard. The felt is light purple instead of green or blue. Another little set back I want to warn you about (don’t be alarmed, its normal) is when there is a lot of video streaming traffic (a lot of online players) the video and audio feed gets a bit delayed. It is more notable with the sound because it is not fluid…there is a stutter effect. This does not mean you do not see and hear everything that happens at Dublin Bet Casino, but you will notice that the image and sound do not flow the same as when you watch TV.
When you start to play for real you will find that your bets are placed the same way as if you were physically at the casino. Although in reality it is easier betting online. One reason for this is when you place the mouse cursor on top of the betting layout the possible betting options are highlighted. This helps tremendously since you may not always remember what all the bet options are when playing. For example, you can see in the image below, when I placed the arrow on top of the intersection of 4, 5, 7 and 8, those four numbers light up. This is an example of a Corner bet. There are twelve different ways to place a bet each with its own payout. If you do not know which they are, here is the list:
Straight up = single number with 35 to 1 odds
Split Bet = two adjacent numbers with 17 to 1 odds
Street = three adjacent numbers with 11 to 1 odds
Corner = four adjacent numbers with 8 to 1 odds
Six-Line = Six adjacent numbers with 5 to 1 odds
Column = all numbers in the selected column with 2 to 1 odds
Dozen = all numbers in the selected dozen with 2 to 1 odds
Red or Black = all red numbers or all black numbers with 1 to 1 odds
Odd or Even = all odd numbers or all even numbers with 1 to 1 odds
Low or High = All numbers between 1 and 18 or all numbers between 19 and 36 with 1 to 1 odds
Neighbors = A number on the wheel, plus the two numbers on the left side of the number and the two numbers on the right side of the number.
Orphans = all the numbers between the zero section and the tier, it consists of five chips placed as follows: 1, 6-9, 14-17, 17-20, 31-34.
Please do not worry if you can not remember all of betting possibilities. As mentioned previously, the Roulette table offers the highlighting option at all times.
The image you see here is an example how I pressed the numbers and neighbor button (yellow button on the bottom of the picture shown here). As you can see the neighbor layout is highlighted on the table.
As in all online Roulette games, there is a minimum and maximum amount for all types of bets placed. If the bet you place is below the minimum or above the maximum Dublin Bet Casino will inform you. If you do not realize that your bet is below the minimum or above the maximum before “No More Bets” is called, the bet is ignored and the chips are returned to your account. So you do not have to worry about loosing your chips if you turn away from the computer for a minute. On the superior part of the Roulette screen you will see the words CREDITS, LAST WIN and BET AMOUNT. The CREDITS refers to the current amount of money you have in your gaming account. The LAST WIN will show the amount you have won once you win a game. Finally, BET AMOUNT refers to the amount of chips you have on the online Roulette table. These are obviously very helpful reminders.

Real live Roulette at Dublin Bet Casino is a memorable experience. One in which you will want to repeat and lucky for us it is possible whenever and where ever you have the extra time to do so. There is no longer any need to drive to the nearest casino or spend a bundle of money traveling to another country to have real fun.
